Can you be more specific about what kind of writing advice you are looking for? I like the premise of your story, seems smart and also has some out-of-the-ordinary turns in store. But you need to tie it together to a working plot, or, if you have that plot already, describe it here...

Only you know the answer to that question. Only you know how much time and energy you could really dedicate to writing, and only you know how well you can conserve your inspiration (or how likely you could bring it back when the time is right). Hope this helps. But I bet it doesn't, ha ha!
