You can buy a shoulder mount for this camera.I've have seen people who have mounted a CCD camera to the back of the viewfinder and attached follow focus rods and control.It's as good as an Arri and the Lens is really sharp especially the 14.5-115 zoom.

I agree the Lab should of asked which way you wanted to go.12 x 9 or 16 x 9 (1 x 1.37 or 1x 1.78) If you are still shooting super 8 consider having the gate machined out 20% to the right and then you can shoot 16 x 9 without having any of the image cropped. Kodak dosen't make sound film anymore...

I have one of these cameras and the pros are No skewing of images,beautiful images,a great work flow once you learn it and can store footage into a portable harddrive without the need of a computer.The cons Expensive P2 cards,needs alot of light compared to most other cameras,Somewhat grainy...

Stay with HD it's better quality and holds up much better.I own one of these cameras and have shot 2 shorts with it so far. I have throughly tested it and find shooting 1080p at 25 fps to be the smoothest and less compressed of all the settings. If you do not have much P2 cards the next quality...
