Well thanks everyone. I don't know why the audio was so bad at this particular location, but I'm definately having everyone turn their cell phones off from now on!
That is what someone said the issue was when I heard that sound coming from some external speakers hooked up to a computer once. (I wasn't sure if that was really true or not). I get that sound from time to time while filming but this night it was happening like crazy. Of course I didn't notice...
