This is what i put my vote on. Action scenes must be rehearsed until perfect.

In this stage it is probably too late to get a permit from the police. What i would do is to make it obvious that you are shooting a film. Worst case scenario you will have to apologize, nothing more.

I love the transformers BTS. The scale of that production is so impressive and the crew is on the top of their business. And to see Bay get the playground he gets is very interesting and entertaining. Say what you want about his films, but in terms of production quality its amazing.

Hello, i am currently in filmschool and is going to write a genrefilm (horror, thriller, western, sci fi etc.). What plot points and characters are audiences expected to understand just from the genre of the film for the different genres? What are the rules to the genres in genre film?

Id recommend filming something similar. Excellent opportunity for a cameo.

There are no rules against camera directions. Only guidelines, if you feel that it is necessary its okay.
