watch Got to make this fun commercial for a great startup!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYZ1a6W2_DE I directed, wrote and produced. Almost the entire thing is shot on a steady cam with a mark II with vintage Zeiss primes.

    Mounting RĂ˜DE to DSLR

I agree somewhat with what have been written. I would recommend the mic. It will work fine, but not perfect with the mic mounted on the camera. Of course you should strive for to have a separate recorder and a boom operator. But we can't have everything we want at once. The mic is a great...

What methods are there for simulating gunshots on set, for cues/timing of reactions?

Your favourite 'Behind The Scenes' documentary

I love the transformers BTS. The scale of that production is so impressive and the crew is on the top of their business. And to see Bay get the playground he gets is very interesting and entertaining. Say what you want about his films, but in terms of production quality its amazing.

So I will have the joy of finishing it myself. I think i was a bit unclear. The benefit of making...

Legality of having a film on in the background?

Id recommend filming something similar. Excellent opportunity for a cameo.

    Found footage/mocumentary spec?

There are no rules against camera directions. Only guidelines, if you feel that it is necessary its okay.
