Begin Again. 3/10, it worked fine as fodder for a rainy Sunday afternoon when you just want to switch your brain off and uses some interesting techniques, but it's corny (in a bad way), the acting is unconvincing (with the exception of Hailee Steinfeld), and absolutely riddled with cliches.

Watched this and liked it a lot - you've done a great job with the cinematography and the score was perfect, really built up the tension like dlmade says. Looking forward to more.

Something got me thinking today. I heard about some guy at my old college who was caught cheating on his essay and it made me wonder what lengths people would go to to get where they want. Would you pay someone to do your work for you? Would you steal someone else's idea? have you ever done...

Any of you guys got a blog? I'm thinking of starting one, somewhere I can put my short stories, book reviews, my obsession with 80s horror movies, that kind of thing ;) I don't know how to go about it though, I've heard of wordpress but I don't know how techy you need to be to be able to use it...

I re-reading George Orwell at the minute, halfway through Down and Out in Paris and London. Before that I went through a Stephen King phase, hadn't read any of his since my teens.

Yeah, not sure how you do that. It's a vicious circle, you move away from the major film studio system and you have the problems of funding/distribution, you get involved in it and you have to play along because there is so much money involved. Also, are there any new ideas anymore? Or just old...

I am currently working on a project with a friend which would be entirely inspired by and realised over the internet. Do you think the infinite internet can be an inspiration? I'm still not convinced... :cool:
