im looking to shoot doc films for broadcast and run and gun type productions. i usually shoot on a dslr 550D to be exact, which i've used for tonnes of productions from run n gun doc's to drama and promo.
hi gang, currently looking into getting a canon xf100. the main purpose for which is i want a video camera that can shoot at 50meg 4:2:2 and is as cheap as the xf100. has anyone here used this camera before or could make any recommendations

yeah deffo i appreciate that it'll need to support the weight of my gear and having used a cheapo tripod for a while now im researching a fair bit til i find what i need
never seen any heads like that before. i suppose i should have mentioned my budget. i guess it was pretty late when i posted last night. im looking to spend about £150-200 tops.
LCD viewfinder just arrived. bought a ggs clip on screen protector for the viewfinder bracket to fit on.... in turn that fits nicely over the stick on screen protector i bought about a year ago.... should be bullet proof now

Hey gang im looking for a tripod, currently shooting on a 550d with battery grip and zoom H4N so prob looking at a couple kilo's. I dont really have a clue when it comes to tripods. i've used some of the heavy duty manfrottos before and really appreciate the ability to pivot the head to bubble...
