No-one's mentioned THE FOUNTAIN by Clint Mansell - breathtaking stuff. Morricone deserves a nod for GOOD, BAD and UGLY Top Fives are really hard, but the other three I'd add are Ry Cooder's PARIS TEXAS, Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen's HOMEBOY and John Williams STAR WARS - EP 4.

Anyone use this service? Thoughts - pros and cons? Am I right in thinking that you actually send them DVD's that they sell? Why not just sell on Amazon yourself? Interested in people's thoughts.

That's very interesting. Question - what do people think is the best route to distribution these days? I'm not that sure how Amazon, etc works. I always figured you make something and sell it to someone who then sells it onwards and if you're lucky you either get quite a nice sum upfront or...

Hypothetical scenario - Feature is all done. Have made real effort with all paperwork and think done okay. Actors and crew - paperwork in place, everyone signed contracts. Permits were gained and all locations signed releases. Permissions of copyrighted products (book covers, piece of music)...

I've been refused permission to use a book as the basis for my film. However, I will now change all the names, the places, etc but keep the theme. Can I legally says "Film inspired by ...." and name check book or author? Thanks for any advice.
