    Editing 4K

Thank you again for replying, mate. She is a film school grad. Has edited two ten minute shorts, but this will be her first feature. That makes a lot of sense, and I know she won't have the capabilities to edit in 4k, so 1080 will be the go. Thanks again, mate, really appreciate it. Aus

    Editing 4K

Thank you for the reply, FL. Just to be sure I understand: The editor will bring the footage down to 1080p, edit it at that res, and we will submit to festivals still in that res? Will we then be able to bring the film back up to 4K if we lucked out and got some sort of deal with a platform...

Is it true that screenwriting is an easy job?

Having Directed, Acted, and Written (on an indie level), I can say with certainty that writing is by far the most difficult process in indie filmmaking. Writers are never given the kudos they deserve when it comes to the whole process.

    Festival Acceptance

Hey Everyone, Does anyone know if it's possible to have your feature film accepted into one of the big (top ten-twenty) festivals WITHOUT having a Distributor or Sales Agent attached? Keen to hear comments. Thanks a heap. Aus
