OH. Yea, we didn't really light it at all... Except for the lamp (Behind the guy that's playing video games) in the back to add a little depth in the shot.
This is a little video my cousin (Jace Goodman) and I filmed 4-5 months ago.
His birthday is actually coming up on the 31st (May) and so I thought as a little something for his birthday I'd finally edit this thing. ;) Haha
I know there's some continuity/realism issues (like my see-through...
Not bad.. It was pretty long for such a short/quick effect. It'd be much more watchable if it was shortened. I was expecting something big to happen; it seemed like it was building up to something.
The effect was well done though. :) And that's what you were going for I guess... So job well done!
Uhh.... No. It's very much, there. Haha.
Yea, I could've done that. I forgot to add some shadow directly under the ball of fire. Thanks for the advice.
This is very true... I should've gone for that effect!
Yea, I know... I know I seemed a bit amatuer by saying that. And I apologize for...
I was brainstorming the other day... About dffferent special effects I can include in my future VFX reel. And this was an idea I came up with... I'll probly be uploading different little effect videos like these in the near future. So look out for them!
VFX done in After Effects. Composited in...
Wow, I've never found another 15 year old that could make an action scene/film as good as I could (Not trying to be cocky or anything) until now! Not bad.. You had some epic moments in there.
I definitely agree with WheatGrinder. Mute the sound from now on if you get wind in the audio. And just...
Damn... That was pretty boss. Only thing I'd add, is you might want to turn down those sound effects... they were definitely too dominating. (IMO)
Other than that, great stuff.
Wow, this is incredible.
For real. There is a time that a story is needed... And there is a time when straight up action is needed! In your case... It looks like you just like doing 2-3 minute action shorts. And hey, I say keep at it!
I LOVED it. The fight was probably the best choreographed...
Haha, nice!!!!
I loved this. Very nice. Loved everything.
Final stand, lag (when the dude wouldn't die and at the end.) And of course, the RCXD! Haha ;)
Would love to see more of these.
EDIT: Subscribed! And tweeted this.
Oh... My... Gosh.. That is so incredible. You NEED to sell this product.
You only sell your services right? Like, you can only rent one of these, not buy.
Correct?
Great job. :)
Your actors sold it pretty well.. And you had some good shots.
The video kept on like "lagging" for a second for me... It may have to do with your file type/compression? I'd look into it... It's a bit annoying.
I've got nothing to add to what these guys have said besides the sound...
