I can give you the gist of my life in 5 sentences:

I became a filmmaker because of Empire Strikes Back documentaries and watching The Muppet Babies when I was 5 and 7 years old. I started out as a stop-motion animator, but moved to live-action because it became the easier thing to do at the time. I won two 3rd place awards for my animated shorts at the age of 9 and 10 years old at an international animation festival, which was quite the milestone for me, and a pleasant surprise for the KAFI festival up in Michigan. For the longest time, I was my only actor in my films: which not only resulted in me developing voice acting skills, but also allowed me to carefully craft a personal style and a need for perfection in every aspect of production. My chief inspiration is animation, primarily Japanese anime, as I find it's visual design to be far more stimulating than your typical live-action: and so I want to try and find ways to mix the mediums together in a cohesion that doesn't look too crazy, but still gives viewers something they've never seen before.
