Some action movie/film fighting tutorials

I don't think the fights they did to show us, were as well choreographed. They seem to explain how to do them though. If you wanna learn how to do a great choreographed fight scene, learn from movies like Oldboy, and Eastern Promises.

Those were very entertaining, can't wait for #3....

What about neck strengthening? Probably not as important for the one off scene but if you plan to make a career out of it or do long term multiple scenes it might be worth mentioning...

That was good too, some great tips in there too.

Just wondering which camera you used for 5:52 - 6:55 in the third video? (when you guys were sitting around drinking "wine" and talking about how rich you were) and was it the same camera for the fight scene after that?

"I AM THE POLICE!"

Haha, thanx, guys! The camera we used in the short film portion of Episode 3 was a Canon 7D. In all the episodes we used 90% 7D footage, and in the fight scene for Episode 2, we had to intersplice 550D footage when the battery on the 7D clunked out. You can kind of tell, especially since we had the default settings completely different.

For the "instructional" portions of Episode 3 we used a Panasonic HMC, which is where all the audio-visual problems came from. Guess my computer just wasn't sitting well with the HMC stuff heh.

Good tutorials and you guys, your kung fu is very strong. Seriously, you are both skilled martial artists and athletes, not typical Hollywood bullshit no talent fakers.

And my entire house could fit in your kitchen!

These are getting funnier and funnier, and the actual tutorials are very informative and helpful.

It might also be cool (in a future video) to see what you think about camera movement/framing in fight scenes. Perhaps utilizing different levels of shakiness, amount of time per shot, etc.

Thanks for the videos!
