Nice to meet you all!

I'm new to the forum, so will continue to read and study before posting more :) In the meantime wanted to come to say hi and meet you guys. I'm looking forward in hearing from you, your backgrounds and projects.

Short introduction of me and us: My name is Katja-Maaria (or K-M), I have a privilege to be part of this very enthusiastic, independent filmmaker team from Oulu, Finland. I created this account for our team, mainly it'll be me posting here but it can be the other crew members too (also, let me know if there's someone especially of us you want to talk with, I'll ask him/her to come here :) ).

Personally I'm a bit unexperienced with forums in general, so it might take some time to understand how it works (and not to do major mistakes :lol:).

Well, now off to more "Evilness" :) Once again, it'll be nice to hear from you!

I've always wanted to go to Finland, such a beautiful place. If you're finnish then you should check out Madventures. Best travel show ever.
 
Oulu!! I was there in July 2010 on my way back from Nordkapp to Regensburg on my scoot!! Nice place and good food!! Only complaint was straight roads.

Wow, Norway! I just had a pleasure to visit Norway for my first time, just a three weeks ago! I stayed at FilmCamp in Skjold/Øverbygd for 3 days intensive workshop. Norway is beautiful too! All the mountains and the fjeld, oooh... And the Norwegians seemed to be nice people. Wow for California too, we have a small team there :)

Madventures.. Yes, I've watched them sometimes when had time. It's cool. Well, maybe not the foods they eat :lol:

Hey to Germany, I have a couple of good friends there :)

Yay, nice to hear you've been here recently (we were shooting the first parts of our movie back then :)), thanks also for the Oulu compliments. I agree with you about the straight roads.. :D Also it's quite flat in most parts of Finland, it would be nice to have some alteration on the landscape... Regensburg is your city?

Ah, yes, we know all about Finns here in Astoria. I'm named after one and also dated one for a while. Suomi Hall is right next to a theater I helped build. And I've eaten my share of Krumkake while running lights at the annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival. :yes:
