FX is having a $50,000 contest to promote it's upcoming season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." (http://www.myspace.com/sunnyfx) The show was picked up by the network based on a pilot that was made for roughly $200 by three actors in L.A. (watch the making of video), so now FX is asking people to send in a short comedy pilot for a chance to win a pitch meeting with the studio.

I have to tell you I saw like 6 or 7 episodes of this show, maybe 8...
It was late about midnight one Saturday night after Saturday Night Live. I was flipping the usual channels and FX happens to be one of them. There was this show on there about four college buddys. Three of them owned and operated the bar (guys). The fourth college buddy was the bar tender/bar maid (girl).
Anyway, the show was SO SO SO freak'n funny I watched it. Then they had another one, then another, and another and another... man it was like half a season.. I was SO damn tired but I could not stop watching it. It was the funniest thing I've seen in quite a long long time. The things that happen and how the show flows is amazing. I would have forgone sleep to keep watching it.
Although, I didn't see the episode with Danny DeVito, they may have made that later, or I missed it. I highly reccomend watching it. TiVo it if you can't... I'm setting my DVR to record it.
