We're trying to put together a horror film festival in my home town and we want to show some cool, modern classics of horror. i.e. The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and Ghostbusters. It seems that getting the rights to show these films and charge an admission is a mystery to everyone we talk to, even the owner of the theatre we want to show them in.
So, if anyone here knows how to go about getting exhibition rights to such films, I would greatly appreciate the information.
