Uh, I think I have a little problem.
I was exporting my new (first) movie from Premiere Pro and found out that I do not have a windows media codec.
Where can I get it?

It can be downloaded for free from http://www.microsoft.com as part of their Windows Media Player.
If you're looking to export an AVI into a WMV file, your best option is to do it in Windows Movie Maker.
Thanks, I`ll try to manage with it.

Am I downloading the right thing?:

Microsoft also has a stand-alone encoder. You can do a search on their site for the windows media encoder, they give it out for free. I find its usually faster than using the encoder embedded in movie maker.
