Again congrats to everyone who entered. It's been an eventful two months since this thing got started. We had a hurricane some voting conspiracy and a better-late-than-never Head Judge that threatened the competition, but we pulled through. I want to thank all of the Judges who took a lot of time from their busy schedules to watch each film more than once and critique them. I want to thank indie for again providing the means to have this contest. And lastly, I want to thank all the people involved in the films...we had a good crop of films this time and a lot of talented people showcased their skills...thank you all for without you this competition would have been nonexistant.

dylan61 11-15-2005, 10:04 PM WOW! Thanks everyone and especially the judges. The cast and crew will be thrilled to hear it. Well, a little celebration is in order then it's on to the film festivals. Thanks to indietalk for inspiring us with an idea and for providing this forum.
EddieLeonardo 11-15-2005, 10:11 PM Congrats to everyone that won!!!
And wow, I have to say I am very happy about winning the bonus points on the knife.
Thanks for doing this and I really want to do another one as I have learned so much just doing that one film.
skankis 11-15-2005, 10:12 PM Yea talking dead was pretty awesome. Great job again on that awesome work, still pretty impressive.
scooter 11-15-2005, 10:19 PM Congrats to all the winners. Some top notch filmmaking! Can't wait until ITOOFC #5!
All awards are duly deserved and I think ALL the filmmakers deserve a hand for completing a film within the demanding timeline!
CootDog 11-15-2005, 11:23 PM I really enjoyed Talking Dead and figured it would win, if not sweep.
you have a few awards to add to the film. Let us know how it is doing in the festival circuit and good luck with that.
For #5, we should hit up a couple bigger sponsers and advertise the contest... It will get more people over here to IndieTalk. That will be talked about later... for now....
CONGRATULATIONS again:clap:
Mikey D 11-16-2005, 12:07 AM Round four has been one hell of a ride. I wish to offer a most sincere congratulations to all who finished their films  and entered on time.

NicklausLouis 11-16-2005, 12:28 AM Before the ideas start flying about ITOOFC #5, let's savor the accomplishment of this one right now. The ITOOFC will live again and it will have a new twist...one that I am sure will excite everyone.
I am such a tease.

John@Bophe 11-16-2005, 05:41 AM Wow. Very cool!!!! This has been a great experience, and I'm happy to see that the judges responded well to our project.
Joy will not believe her acting award, I can't wait to tell her...when she wakes up.
Will Vincent 11-16-2005, 07:05 AM For #5, we should hit up a couple bigger sponsers and advertise the contest... It will get more people over here to IndieTalk. That will be talked about later... for now....
 Eek! are you saying 10 films for us to judge wasn't enough? :bag:
knightly 11-16-2005, 08:07 AM  Eek! are you saying 10 films for us to judge wasn't enough? :bag:
yeah, what he said! You'd have to increase the judging timeline.
John@Bophe 11-16-2005, 08:09 AM I bet he was talking about getting more viewers and critiques, not necessarily more movies.
 Eek! are you saying 10 films for us to judge wasn't enough? :bag:
I think Will speaks for all the judges.
Personally, I spent at least an hour on each film.
Congrats to the winners and all filmmakers who participated.
Rick
SPaulovich 11-16-2005, 11:16 AM Congratulations everyone - all those who entered and , of course, to the winners.
I don't envy the judges... it must have been a long and difficult process with all the fine films in this round.
Again, great work everyone!! You're credits to indie filmmaking and to this site!
spinner 11-16-2005, 01:18 PM Congratulations! to everyone who entered and the winnners, dylan61 (woohoo,MI!!) and to Spa-TOOOO-laH!!
...sorry, I couldn't participate, computer/isp problems. I look forward to competition #5.
...hey, just out of curiosity...what were the themes of the last 4 competitions? Can anyone enlighten me?
Woohoo, again!

Spatula 11-22-2005, 10:44 AM I just reviewed m score sheet for the contest, and I'd just like to take a minute here to thank all the judges for taking the time to review all the movies and put thier feedback.
The feedback I recieved is really going to help me a lot, and it was very in-depth! THANK YOU ALL!!
NicklausLouis 11-22-2005, 11:02 AM That's one big benefit of having the Judges score the films the way they do. Not only do they score the film, but they also comment on the scores they give...thus in effect giving the filmmaker an extensive critique.
Poke
CootDog 11-22-2005, 11:15 AM YES. And I really appreciate that very much!
From the score sheets, I feel happy. I take all the comments and absorb them and know where to go. These comments will help out on the final cut of the film. I can't wait to get into that!
Thanks again to all the judges for taking the long amount of time it took to actually score each film and for writing your comments. The comments are golden and that alone is worth the price of entry, or more!
Lilith 11-22-2005, 12:45 PM I love that CootDog is quoting Sonnyboo in his signature. I wonder it that's a first... :)
It was a pleasure and privilege to judge these films. Just the fact that you guys got them DONE is worth more than 90% of us out there. Remember the great indie film cliche- the never to be completed film?!?
I for one know I was tough on you guys, but it wouldn't help for us to just throw smilies your way with no in depth critical thought.
All I can say is that I hope Poke invites me back next year.
EddieLeonardo 11-22-2005, 01:02 PM I really appreciated the honesty in the comments. I would NOT have wanted it any other way. These comments are priceless. I feel I can make a huge jump toward making a better movie.
I could use every excuse in the book for why my movie wasn't the best it could be, but even with the excuses there were things that were said that I would have never known to be an error, mistake or outright ignorance.
I really don't know how to thank the judges, except to make a spectacular film using the advice given to me. (and that will happen soon)
Thanks again,
Eddie L.
John@Bophe 11-22-2005, 02:55 PM I would also like to extend my thanks to the judges! You had quite a challenge reviewing 10 movies, and we (the movie-makers) certainly do appreciate the time and effort you put in to evaluating our projects.
Thanks again!
Loud Orange Cat 11-22-2005, 03:48 PM Congrats!!!
Zensteve 11-22-2005, 05:57 PM That's awesome!
Great work, ladies and gentlemen, from everyone who entered. :P
Zensteve 11-22-2005, 06:03 PM ...and many many thanks to the fine judges, with their time and input.
I love you all. :woohoo:
Clearly I'll have to bribe them, next time
knightly 11-22-2005, 09:58 PM I told you steve, I'll take your money, but I'll still only score an extra point per hundred.
is that better ?
Lilith 11-23-2005, 07:23 AM Hey-
Doesn't that spoil the spoiler???
