Right now, Online Promotions Group is offering online sweepstakes contest promotions for independent filmmakers on www.HollywoodPrize.com at no cost during our Beta testing trial period.
The purpose: for filmmakers to build an email list of dedicated fans and to help market/sell their latest DVD online to targeted viewers.
Our company, Online Promotions Group, has been handling sweepstakes contest promotions since August 2003 but only recently re-launched our sweepstakes portal, HollywoodPrize.com, to handle data capture and analysis for new clients.
By running a successful sweepstakes contest, filmmakers will be able to truly pinpoint the true demographic of their viewers while creating a viable email list.
Filmmakers or production companies must, of course, come up with the prizing for the sweepstakes. The more compelling the prize is - the more people will respond. It can range from a private viewing of the film with the cast to a signed copy of the DVD. You decide the prizing...we handle the data collection.
At the end of each contest (which typically last 4-6 weeks), the filmmaker or production company will be able to download their list of contestants to an MS Excel file including the contestant’s profile information (i.e. email address, US mailing address, etc). From there, they will be able to build a viable list for future sales purposes.
Our HollywoodPrize.com data engine is still undergoing beta testing. This offer is at no cost. However, we simply ask those who may wish to participate to bear with us in the event any technical difficulties (bugs) may arise.
