I want to get a job PA'ing at a commercial production company in LA specifically because I am interested in becoming a commercial director. After I've been grounded for awhile I plan on putting together a great spec reel. I'm going to make the move to LA in the beginning of January.

How should I format my resume? Is it just like applying for any other job (outside the film industry)? I know I should put my jobs as a PA in there, but should I also include projects that I've directed? What about jobs I've had that are non-film related (where basically all of my paid work experience derives from)?

Is it better to send my resume + cover letter via fax or e-mail? Thanks.
