Is it possible to use i movie editing software on a PC?

No, but most newer versions of Windows come with the MS-equiv "Windows Movie Maker".

If you have the original source footage (or even a compatible format exported file) from i-movie, you could get that into WMM... in theory. ;)

I wish! I-movie is superb (believe it or not we did teh inital cut of our feature on I-movie then moved it to final cut!).

Windows MM is a very poor alternnative.

iMovie is pretty amazing - one of the really nice things about being a Mac user. My 16 year old niece who have never even thought about making a movie but together a great little movie and burned it with iDVD to pass out to all her friends.

It's easy to use.
