This is a new sub-forum (based on clive's idea).

I'm touched. I'll move the thread here.

For those of you who don't know, we're reading and discussing the screenplay of "Bringing Out the Dead" by Paul Schrader right now.

We're planning to do a new script evey fortnight.

You can find the scripts for free online, all you do is google "screenplays"

Great plan!

I was sneakily following the other thread. Nice to see a dedicated forum for it.

What's a fortnight?

It's two weeks. A quaint old english expression that I've probably misspelled (dyslexia)

I figured two weeks was long enough for people with commitments to get through one screenplay.

it's "fourteen nights" smashed into one word.

Clive, I'm pretty sure you spelled it right. Just that most of us silly americans have quintessentially no knowledge of quaint old english terms. ;)

I would love to join in but I sincerely don't have enough time to read a script.

Is this where the discussions take place?

My favorite place to find scripts is Drew's Script-O-Rama: http://www.script-o-rama.com/snazzy/dircut.html

They have HUNDREDS of original scripts.
