Can anyone recommend a few places to get production insurance? I did a search on this forum and two recommended are Film Emporium in NY and Arts & Entertainment Insurance in MA. Are there are any other companies you'd recommend that have decent coverage for a reasonable price? The cheapest I've found so far (in the Chicago area where I'm located) is around $1000/week. Thanks!
(Oh... and we're shooting in Wisconsin, though my production company is in Chicago.)

you know what?... I used to through raves in California and I went to the local Allstate insurence agent and asked how much for a million dollar policy for an event lasting 3 days...
Price was $500...
That was 3 days though! I don't know how many weeks you're talking about but talk to your insurence agent and if they don't do it... see who they recommend.

I believe there's a film office in Chicago, you should check with them or the Illinois film office.
