What one book (for a beginner) would you buy for each of the following subjects:
I will eventually be using an iMac G5, Final Cut, and a Panasonic PV-GS65, if that matters.

Directing:
Producing:
Writing:
Editing:
Acting:

Or any other subject that might help me.

There was a thread a few weeks back that mentioned a lot of excellent books. I'll see if I can find it.

Meanwhile... a great all around one is called "The Five Cs of Cinematography". That's not a category you listed, but it's pretty important. :)
