Hi Folks,

I'm Freddie, the newbie; bowling on in on a Sunday lunchtime to say hi and ask if anyone in the forum knows anything about rain rigs. We're producing a feature film in Birmingham (UK), and are in need of rain for one day and we're all too aware that the British weather cannot be relied upon.....So, if anyone has any info they could share, or even if you just want to say hello, I'll be back in soon.

lol, Freddie

Anyone ever told you about the 'Never Ever Try and Do Rain' rule? ;) Rain is an absolute nightmare and normally the longer you spend time trying to create rain the worse it looks on film. Just think if it really adds anything to your story? Do you really need it to rain? Think also about the absolute nightmares it will generate, dangers, and what your insurance company might say! My advice to you mate, is make an executive CUT.
