I am writing this fairly ignorant of the cinematographers craft so forgive me if I sound as so. I would like to know if anybody could tell me what recent good films have been shot 35mm and with the aspect ratio 1:85? And if possible is there anywhere that would list such a thing. I'm trying to find the information because a film that was going to be shot at 2:35 can no longer as it is too expensive and we'd like to see some examples of films shot at 1:85. Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated.

I just watched Bowfinger for the zillionth last night, it was 1.85:1 and in 35mm. I've found a lot of comedies use 1.85:1 .

War of the Worlds was shot 1.85:1
