Is there any way to extract a still from my video footage I have in Vegas?

In the video preview area, there is a little camera icon that will take a still.

Silly q: Does it taking from the source or from preview? I mean is it max.best quality?

The way that I mentioned above takes pics from the captured footage. I am pretty sure there is a way to take it straight from the capture utility that comes with vegas too.

You're welcome, Ian. This isnt the thread I guess to discuss it but as you move ahead, youll find that Vegas can do so very much and very easily, but there are still a few areas that you are better off using After Effects or something else.
