I'm new to FCP HD. I've got the video editing down but I am having trouble bringing CD music from my iTunes to the audio timeline. Can't you just "drag and drop" music from iTunes to FCP? Please H-E-L-P!!! Please tell me in details other ways of bringing music into FCP.

FCP uses .aiff files not mp3.

Drag the mp3 into your Quicktime icon - under "File" click on "export" - choose "Sound to AIFF".

yup, mp3 files will not work properly with FCP. Not sure why, but you will get constant drops in it.
