Just got a question for everyone.

Who are the prominent indie filmmakers in South East Asia (i.e. singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, thailand, phillipines, vietnam, cambodia)?

Anyone know any information about the birth of indie filmmaking in these countries? Any contacts, links or references?

Looking for answers to why the indie filmmaking industry has recently experienced a sudden explosion in the region.

Any help or leads will be much appreciated.
