Hi folks - I'm putting this up here as it seems a networking opportunity...
The film fest that I work at, here in Montreal, has invited Calmin Borel, a programmer from Clermont-Ferrand, France to come over (bringing a series of shorts from that illustrious and storied festival to play here). He will be in town for a few days and wants to meet and connect with North American filmmakers in the hopes of creating new relationships across the pond. If any one is in the area and interested in coming to any of the events we are hosting around his being here - please drop an email to me at this address and I will send you an invitation.
The dates would be from July 14- July 17.

Also, we have invited Chris Gore of Filmmthreat, Matt Dentler of South by Southwest and several other film types into town the next week and will be hosting a party or two when they are around.
