Some of you may remember my previous post asking for referrals to Indie sites (thank-you, I stole...ur, I mean, picked up some good ideas). Currentlly, I've compiled some website design and HTML tutorials off the internet. I'm far from well-versed so forgive me if I use the wrong terminology when phrasing my questions. I've registered my domain name: http://korecinema.com (nothing there yet). I plan on having five pages with links to either a completed shots board and an animated clip or clips, or just all clips and no static visuals. My splash page will simply be 'Kore Cinema' with an 'enter' (the 'o' will be a spiral motif, the text will be gray on a Black BG. The second page will have the 'Kore' header with a horizontal navigational bar with: Home, Projects , About, Contact/Links. I will include just my 'Mission Statement' on this page. The third page will have the header, navigational bar and is the Projects page. This is where I will either link to two or more clips or the clips and the stationary visuals of my completed shots, perhaps even a storyboard for the next shot (just for viewers to assess the progression from storyboard to ani). First question: Is this too many visuals, would a better plan be to rotate clips? Would people be interested in seeing a preliminary storyboard of a scene, then seeing it progress through pencil tests to a finished ani? The fourth page will include the header, navi bar and be the bio page. The fifth (last)page will have the header, navi bar, and be the 'contact' and 'links' page. Would it be wise to also include a feedback section on this page or will a contact email be plenty? Thank you once again for previous help. Any suggestions to streamline these ideas would be much appreciated.
