Hiya, It's me again, with some more pathetic pleading!
I really want to compose film soundtracks, not for money (yet!!) just to get started, but I really don't know how to get started. I've composed loadsa music before(not for films), but can't find any directors who want music for their film. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Or even better, has something that needs a soundtrack.

Be sure to send your CD/reel to magnatune.com, lots of indie filmmakers buy their soundtracks from composers on that label.

You might consider starting a web site and posting sample mp3's of your work.

I'm sure there's students at BFI and other UK film schools that need scoring for their films!
