okay its time for me to get a mic thats better than my camera. i would like something that will work with my panasonic pv dv953, and will probably need a boom pole, so id rather get a package than all this seperately.

anyone know if thats any good and worth the money? or would it be that much better to just spend 200$ on a mic and wait on the boom? i could probably go up to 250-300 if there is a lot better deal. well what do yall recommend?

now i think im just gonna get the boom pole package for like $80 and then a mic for anywhere up to $150. so for making movies, whats the best mic in that price range?

I have used it a couple of times direct into a Sony DCR-HC85. I have been pleased with the results so far considering I really have no idea what I am doing.

This might be too pricey at over $900, but it's nice to see they are bundling the mic and boom.
