Hi everyone.

I'm new to the industry and i have'nt really got much knowledge or experience. i have an idea for an animation. I have borrowed some money for the project but i have been told it isn't nearly enough. I am now, pondering the idea of pitching my concept to an animation studio. I was wondering if anyone would have any advice on how to do this, and if i get the oppurtunity to pitch my idea, is there any chance of being brushed off and then having my concept stolen by a larger corporation?

How much money do you have and how long is the project? I run an animation studio and I might be able to assess how feasible your project is.

I have about $120,000.00 Aus Dollar to spend on the animation. It's a 2d/3d animation running for about 45 minutes. At the moment i have everything in episodes and i will need it to be put onto script, animated and with music.

I think a 45 minute production on that budget is certainly feasible, although I wouldn't recommend that running length. You want to either want to go with a half-hour show, which is doable with your budget, or a feature film, which probably isn't.

If you'd like to discuss it further, you can PM me. I am currently producing a low budget animated feature film and can give you some pointers.
