This is the LEAD character for my 3D animation movie... She doesn't have clothes on yet. :cool: We're still designing it. We have the boots down though.

Congrats on the modeling! I think some shadows are missing on some of the protruding iron works. Actually, the eye patch doesn't bother me, but the blue of the other eye is a little disconcerting. It's hard to tell from these examples (because of the hair obscuring the view).

But nice work, the lead character should have some mass appeal.

The eye scar and patch was decided upon long ago. Her rise to the rank of Fleet Admiral caused her to endure many battles from jelous men that believed they should get it.

She earned her rank, the hard way and has the scar to prove it...


Zen, I'm not entirely sure about the software... The character guys were given the bio and some of my ideas and they ran with it.
Admiral Ulanov looks pretty good now, but wait until she's clothed.

I think they are using DAZ Studio and LightWave
Animation will be in MAX. Although the script doesn't call for her to be in action. At least not on the battlefield.. I mean she's the Admiral :yes:

I finally got around to boning this thing and now these are the first 2 tests. The first, smaller file, is just a simple walk. Pay close attention to the elbow joint. :D

The second one is raw BVH data converted. It's shaky since it wasn't cleaned up, but it works for the test.
