Hi I have a canon xl-1s and apple g4 and ofcourse final cut express......i shot some footage and edited it all together came out good but everytime i go to put titles over the film it looks good up until the point of rendering it...once i do that the image of the title gets all blurry and kinda distored I am an begginer so I may be filmming or importing the footage wrong..but i dont think i am...but can anyone steer me in the right direction to remedy this problem thanks.....

In your export settings, is there an option called "Optimise Stills", or similar?

If so... check it. :)

(That solves the problem on Adobe Premiere, anyway)

Also... did you create the titles with FCE or in another prog like Photoshop? Might be a pixel-aspect ratio thing.

Final Cut Express has its own titles that you just drop on the time line I dont export anything......i think it works a bit diffently from adobe....
