Hey guys- trying to make a DVD for Perfect Sandwich (to test some things out, and for fun), and I've come across a problem:
When I reach the last part of the "Make DVD" process, I am to select my driver/speed from a dropdown menu... unfortunately, those menus are grayed out!
Does anyone know what I can try to give those menus life? (I'm afraid I'm still grey myself on this issue... is it a driver thing?
Or is there a way to take the menus I created and burn them externally?

Thanks!

I'm using Sonic Foundry DVD Architect v.1.0

Did you plug in an external burner after the Architect had been started?

Nope- I've got a DVD burner internally.
It's very perplexing.

I had a similar problem with Adobe's Encore DVD.

You may have a program running in the background that is accessing your DVD drive and therefore preventing your burning software from being able to use it. Try restarting and turning off anything that isn't absolutely necessary. It's worth a shot at least :D.

DId this happen just recently? Or is it a demo/unregistered program. Sony will block out burning if it is not registered.
