Shaw 04-17-2005, 11:57 AM Wait ten seconds before responding to anything :) Useful even if you don't have a temper! Gavin 04-17-2005, 11:59 AM any othr contributions... specifically regarding film? Will Vincent 04-17-2005, 01:21 PM Take an anger management class.. they'll teach you what you need to know. ;) bruff1 04-17-2005, 05:49 PM Actors aren't going to like a filmmaker with a temper, it creates an uneasy set. Watch the Spider-Man 1 and 2 special features about the director Sam Raimi. The actors talk about what he does on the set to keep everything comfortable. Spatula 04-17-2005, 08:09 PM Smoke marajuana. It worked for Winston Churchill. NicklausLouis 04-18-2005, 12:14 AM And W. Poke Boz Uriel 04-18-2005, 12:56 AM Step 1: Employ actor David Caruso and be sure he makes every call sheet. Step 2: Tell everyone to make sure their cell phones are on and set to the loudest most annoying ring available. Step 3: Stand back and watch the fireworks. HAWKEYE 04-18-2005, 03:30 AM AAAAHHHH! This damn post pisses me off! Grrrrrrrrrr! What temper?! I have no damn temper! Ooops! Sorry! Gavin 04-18-2005, 08:13 AM are their any other coments about, or suggestions of how to control ones temper and increase a good-heart? NicklausLouis 04-18-2005, 09:15 AM Gavin, maybe if we understood exactly what you mean and why you are asking this seemingly random question it might help us to have better comments. I am just confused about what you're shooting for. Poke bruff1 04-19-2005, 12:01 AM Same here, give us details on how this has anything to do with films. Otherwise maybe this was a question for an anger management counselor. pINKpIRATE 04-19-2005, 01:25 PM Prioritize your anger. I have major anger issues and i have that same problem but then one day i realized that some who is always mad after a while looses that affect they have on people when they become mad. After a whil eit's just like " who is that yelliing?" "oh it's just the crazy bitch from this morning." you know? When you get mad, just cool down, i'm not saying count to ten or anything but remove yourself from the situation. the words you say are always worse when they're well thought up then when you just errupt a volcano of "blah blah blah's". especially if your dealing with actors. It's better to use your anger as a tool of intimidation than to let yourself be it's instrument of stupidity because int eh end, after a temper tantrum, you do feel kind of stupid. pINKpIRATE 04-19-2005, 01:25 PM How can one increase ones good-heart and decrease ones temper? Nique Zoolio 04-19-2005, 01:35 PM Gav, i'll let you in on a secret of how to de-stress your life. lemons. not 1 lemon. not 2. 4 lemons. eat them Gavin. eat every single one of them. by the time you've had your second I promise you all the stress will be gone, by the end of the 3rd you will be rolling about with the giddy joy of acids making your inner belly moist. if all the lemons fail - try the last one - people die, people don't have computers, they don't have a hope. people have had to make decisions about wars, killing hundreds of thousands with a signature. whatever your concerns are - they are most likely tiny, insignifcant, and don't even deserve attention in the grand scheme of things. mine don't ;) Spatula 04-19-2005, 02:41 PM Lemons? Poppy-cock!!! What kind of hack doctor are you Zool? Take it from me (a real medical professional.. self taught!): Lemons are for horses... real men eat dirt. That's right. Dirt. Once you've eaten enough dirt while angry, you will always associate anger with dirt, and everytime you get angry after that, you'll taste dirt. That way, you won't get angry because dirt tastes bad. Lemons taste good. Dirt tastes bad. Lemons are yellow. Dirt is many colors. (If you live near a nuclear plant, use the lemons) -Logan- King Goldfish 04-19-2005, 02:52 PM Momma always said "Life is like a bottle of Valiums" then she would pop them and go to sleep. we never understood our mother, much! Nique Zoolio 04-19-2005, 03:06 PM Lemons taste good. I'm a silly billy excuse me, but it has been categorically proved that lemons infact, taste not very good at all. see here:EVIDENCE FOR SPATULA (phasesofzool.blogspot.com) and i'm glad you note that you suffer from the symptons of the silly billy, i fear your case may indeed be terminal. :( Spatula 04-19-2005, 03:17 PM I didn't want to do this... but I photographic evidence, and I think it needs to finally be revealed: [img=http://img83.echo.cx/img83/6731/photographicevidence9nu.th.jpg] (http://img83.echo.cx/my.php?image=photographicevidence9nu.jpg) Nique Zoolio 04-19-2005, 03:28 PM ah, that is a different Zool. he was the first. he did indeed die of too many lemons (38 and a third and a twist). i am the new zool. you have indeed done well for yourself today Spatula.... only 20 i see too..... my, my til the next time our swords meet...... feeling scared?.....go get yourself some watermelons..... i hope you enjoy this Gavin.....whenever you get stressed picture Spatula here munching away on watermelons as I breeze through the air too pure for him to even breathe.... 'like them do ya? like those watermelons do ya?' etc imagine this until he has finished his watermelons, then stop becasue noone should know what would happen to him after that... Spatula 04-19-2005, 03:33 PM I've learnt well from my experience here... I will get lemons... Zools are vulnerable to lemons. Nique Zoolio 04-19-2005, 04:01 PM  its all just a bit of fun!!! back to the basics here Gavin - how can one increase good heart, lower temper?? simply put - appreciate that your surroundings can decicde pretty much you. eg - your heart will beat faster than ever before if you are in love, but there has to be someone there to love. my point Gav - don't go looking for the answer in yourself, or even in us - its in the community. your community. work for charity. do things that make you feel proud of you. your acts decide you. do good acts, not angry ones. its that simple Spatula 04-19-2005, 04:26 PM And always, always have a good time and love what you do! I can get up in the morning and look at the sunrise and laugh. It may be a laugh cause by waking up at sunrise and knowing I have to work all day, but it's a laugh, not an enraged cry of anger. And that laughter puts me in a mood to laugh all day long. Nique Zoolio 04-19-2005, 10:49 PM there you go Gav. words of the wise. lemons and sunrises. whatever, just enjoy it. shouting I LOOOOVEEEE LIIIIFEEEEE!!!!!! have a blast Gav,i know i do, every day all day baby - its the only way to live lux 04-20-2005, 01:34 AM gettting baack to the question, i think if you have anger problems and you cant seem to think of a solution, dont fight the urge, become a teacher/ principle of a country high school. That way you can release your anger without worrying about loosing your job as the school will most likely need you (being the only principle within 1000 square miles) |
