Hey.
I just did some concept posters for Macbeth (the movie we're doing)... I made a crap-tacular site on Geocities just to post them online.

http://www.geocities.com/macbeth3000movie/

That's where they are.

I'd really appreciate some feedback. Do the posters convey humor? Action? Dread? Toast?

Thank you for being my guiniea piggs.

(I also am not a profieicent Photoshop user, so the quality is bad, but they are just demos)

"The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer"

Got this error message when trying to visit your site.

yeah- stupid Geocities... it's telling me I can't even touch it for an hour...
I think they're making sure there's no porn on it...

If it doesn't work I'll figure something else out... sorry...

My favorite is the first. The tag line is good, and the pic of Spock...too funny! Although, the firey image in the second is a nice artistic touch.

I think we might have a better image of the firey pic... these are all old photos I'm working with... I believe there's a shot where the flames parted just perfectly... thanks for your thoughts!

Why not try:

Web1000.com (http://www.web1000.com/)

It's a totally free web host. It's under new ownership, but has been around for years and is reliable. You get 50 megs of space I think... I always recommend them when we get new FilmJumper.com members that have sites containing popups... Web1000.com sites have no advertising at all. You just ftp your pages like any other server... Hell, you can even purchase a cheap domain name at GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) for less than $10 and point the DNS to Web1000.com and have your site WITH a domain name... Pretty much for free except the domain name.

Sorry- I should have said something earlier..

We have webspace, but I don't have permission to use it yet on my computer.
I just wanted to post something quickly without a trip to Mississauga to get Bill to post them.
I think we have a good server- so they tell me..

Thanks for the suggestions though!

I think I like the third one best. The tag line "He's going insane. In the bad way." Is funny to me. But there might be a problem with your homage to the Spocster.

The spockster is just a placeholder for a funny character from Macbeth. I got nothing to work with here- just shots from the trailer and such.
