ok... does anyone have any tips about how to go about securing audition space at everyones favorite rate of FREE? ;)

Thought about that.. but couple problems.. one, part of our audition schedule is Sunday, when the libraries are closed, and two... the only one I've found thus far isn't free. :(

If the short isn't too adult, a church might be willing to lend a rec room or fellowship hall for part of a day.

I was thinking about that too.. but I wonder how willing they'd be on a Sunday.. that is generally their busiest day afterall. ;)

I dunno, I guess paying something isn't totally out of the question, but it would be nice to find something fairly cheap.. I wonder if a storage garage somewhere would work.. and how weird that would seem to people. hehe

Try some rec centers. Community colleges always have space. Find a realtor who deals in leasing office space.

Thanks for all the help guys.. we decided to rent a conference room at a hotel.. got a decent deal too.. $100 for the weekend, can be there from 6am til midnight both days too.. :D

ummm about 15x20 I think. And they don't mind having a line in the hallway.. very cool. I guess we'll have to thank them in the credits or something.
