The Duck That Enlightened Me

The duck returned to life after being hit by a truck
With a smile and a wink, he returned to give me luck

He told tales of experiences. Never did he bore me.
He enlightened me with wisdom and not some straight story.

Over hills and over rivers, he took me on a quest.
He encouraged me to work hard and to always do my best.

“Never conform! Hollywood sucks and they’re too conventional!”
“Destroy all boundaries and keep your work experimental!”

I fell to my knees at the sound of the duck’s mighty roar
But I took his advice because I knew it would make me ascend

I thought I saw the same duck,
I tried to hit him with my truck,
but he ran away and when I asked,
about Tony Sharp he said "Aflack",
... wrong duck.
