Yes, this is the first year that they are officially calling it a film festival although they have always had some sort of film/video/news tapinig going on. You might recall that this is where Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris got their start. In fact they had quite a bit of press last year, so much so that they decided to create a film festival to match the event.

No, I meant Long Beach International. They haven't updated their website since 2003, and you said it was hosted by them.

No, they had a great event last year and the new website for 2005 can be viewed at www.longbeachikc.com Also, you can see excerpts and the championships airing on a number of stations around the U.S. This year they are adding a couple of events including the film festival and taping of the events and championships for streaming video and international sales to broaden the program. They are also working with the Arena on a 5 year deal to increase the size of the show. Check out the Film Festival at www.aoffest.com Thanks.

No, the show is being sponsored by the Long Beach Internationals, the Karate Tournament. The show has been going on for 41 years and they have decided to expand it to incorporate, a Film Festival, Masters Tournament, Special Events etc., they are sponsoring this show and entering long term deals with the city and sponsors to make it a huge event. Thanks
