Hi,

I'm editing my film - it's going to eventually have 75% NTSC and 25% PAL footage, converted to NTSC. I'm worried about what's going to happen when I submit to a European festival. Will I have to convert the whole thing to PAL? Or are European festivals usually capable of screening NTSC projects? If I burned a DVD of an NTSC project, could I screen that?

Thanks,

John

John-Based on your film's genre I would narrow-down potential european festivals and then visit each festival's web site individually. Most festival sites have very clear guidelines as to what formats they preview films with. I sent my film to 2 festivals in Amsterdam, and both actually required VHS in NTSC format. Good luck!

Thanks dudebro. I'm going to do that today. I also realized that if they screen it on DVD, I should probably be ok.

Best,
