Independent Film Event - FREE - Nov 14

love, lost & sold, an independent film premiere for industry and press, with cast and crew. Sunday, November 14, 7:30 PM at the Cantor Film Center on 36 E. 8th Street, a block west of Broadway by University Place.

Blatantly Subtle Productions presents three short films about ”love, lost & sold” in New York City. Made by up-and-coming filmmakers and actors who have gotten lost, wish they could sell out, and couldn’t care less about love – these movies resent the phrase “coming of age.”

Blatantly Subtle Productions is a network of filmmakers, actors and technicians dedicated to developing new work using digital technology, guerrilla tactics and credit cards.

“Hands down the best independent films coming out of New York right now and
made the way they are supposed to be made: independently.”
-Ishai Setton, Producer, Setton Sun Productions

"I really like and believe in what you're doing."
-Robert Honor, NYU Tisch Director of Career Development

“Blatantly Subtle is definitely a rarity. A diamond in the rough of artistic groups in New York. No pretension, a*lot of fun and a ton of talent.” -Kate Dulcich, actress

“Blatantly Subtle's talent and dedication is unmatched!** A great group of people who
work very hard and produce wonderful films.* I'm proud to have worked with them.”
-Ian Cohen, playwright “Lenny and Lou”

“Anyone with money can buy a camera and hit record. Blatantly Subtle does the opposite, using next to no money and instead tapping a collective wealth of*creativity and wit to
explore filmmaking with a sense of both the personal and the universal.”
-David Abraham, industry professional
