Company seeks individual to acquire filmmakers and their films by offering them 50% of the total revenue of our concept.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of film making, be a go-getter, and have the ability to communicate easily with people within the film community. We will only consider people for this position that can understand the scope and dedicate the time to assist in implementing it.

We are offering up to one third of the total revenue and eventually full operation of the project as the Director of Operations for the right candidate and experience.

We are a New York based streaming media corporation but this position is made available to anyone. If you are interested in more information please feel free to contact me here at the forum and we will send you contact information.

Why should be choose your site over another online indie film distribution/promotion sites? There are ones that offer more revenue and are more well known.

How are you going to attract filmmakers to the site? How about casual viewers?

They may pay more to certain films and filmmakers. This projects pays everyone and I find it very difficult to believe they pay more than 50% to all of their filmmakers. Besides we require no contract or exclusive agreement. It's just extra money every month that a filmmaker isn't getting.

I would love to do this job.

I understand filmmakers and what they want with distribution
and I understand the scope of acquisitions. I also understand
the time needed to find the right films for the right platform.

And time is money.

I know you are offering 50% of the revenue to the filmmakers.
So you are offering "up to" one third of the 50% - is that correct?

Got grammar typos.

http://ifilmplex.com/get-involved/
"So what makes you different?" needs a comma after the word "So."
The opening sentence is "Oh I am so glad you asked." needs a comma after "Oh."

Under "How do I contact ifilmplex Customer Support" you might wanna include "EST", or whatever, after the 11am to 7pm part.

Hmm...

Darn. Two/three days in (assuming 57 days to go out of 60) and none of those 1,142 FB friends have donated.
That's gotta be somewhat frustrating. :grrr:

> Hey, how did your IT web crew make the text on the pages not selectable? I can't copy & paste from it. Cool, but annoying.

> Also, I don't see any declaration of what VIP membership will cost monthly. What're the kick about, back of envelope numbers for that?
Come May, June, July 2014 there could be some very interesting checks for a few filmmakers with the first few films and a whole lotta memberships.
The division of profit/earnings (not revenue - gotta keep your business terms very very clear!) with filmmakers is going to be interesting depending upon the metric between films in the library and memberships.

> Also, there's no mention of film length. Should we assume feature length? Any sort of quality criteria? I'd hate to think the makers of 'Yeti: A Gay Love Story' have just an equal shot at being selected to share in earnings as... anything of higher quality.
