I just started building my website so I'm not really "with it" yet. How can actors upload their headshots? I use front office. Is there a certain software I need to purchase? Thanks much!!!

You won't need to purchase any software.

The first thing you want to do is check what your web-server offers, for scripting. (perl, php, cgi, FrontPage extensions, etc)

Then, find an upload script for what you can use. Tonnes of them available for free.

If you can use php, I'll email you a template for an upload script.

(Oh, and you should check out the options under "forms" in your Front Office. Not familiar with that one. It may have templates built in.

Your Powweb options are:

FrontPage 98/2000/2002 Ext.

PHP4 w/Zend Optimizer, Perl5, Sendmail

CGI-BIN, SSI, .htaccess, Cronjobs

When you say "Front Office", do you mean MS-Office FrontPage?

If so, you should have a form wizard to set up a browser upload form.

i make my website with frontpage: http://www.freewebs.com/adamthegrate/thecove.htm - im new at this but find it real easy. if i understand what your sayin then you just put the headshot picture in the site on frontpage, then upload the page, then upload the picture.
