I've been wanting to build myself a body mounted stabilizer for some time but I keep finding ways to put off designing it. Ah well, one of these days.

I actually did get it, on Day 60.

But it was like pulling teeth.

It works okay, and I've used it a few times. It's basic physics, after all. Even if it had been shipped immediately, it would still have been overpriced though... and that includes my laziness factor, instead of making one.

The monopod also extends a full 2 feet (at least) less than advertised.

Burn in hellfire, Hellfire. :angry:

Well I'm a DIYer... so I'll be building one for sure.. an a crane/jib.. and a dolly, etc. :)

Will do.. I'll probably take a bunch during the build process too, so it won't be impossible to replicate, if one so desired.. But it'll be a bit before I get started on it, got some other projects that I need to deal with first.
