Hey i'm curious if there's such things as agents for your independent films... and where you look to for one...

For feature films there are sales agents, who take a commission for gaining sales in the international sales arena. I have heard that there are some who take shorts, but not many and even on features the first three things they'll ask is

a) What was the budget?
b) Is there anyone I know in it?
c) What format was it shot on?

So I guess the answer is yes, but only for the right kind of indie film.
