My film, Nostalgia, won an Audience Award at the National Film Festival
for Talented Youth (NFFTY). It's an international festival with more than
1,000 entries, 215 selected, and 31 awards given. I'm a junior in high
school and this was my first ever film festival win.
Nostalgia is a story that follows the relationship of a young boy and his
Super 8 camera through different stages of his life. Even passions lose their
spark sometimes, but when a relic from your past resurfaces, nostalgia
brings the fascination back stronger than ever.

We were able to find locations and actors all pretty quickly through friend-of-friend
connections. We shot this film over the course of 3 days, edited in 2 days, and
recorded the song another day. All content is original. If there are any
