I love DV, Zen and those Super Eighters.... Ludites i tell you! (thats the correct term right?)

I'm a big fan of DV as well. Great stuff really. The best thing about it is just the ease of editing and cost. You can get some great looking footage for practically nothing.

Film and tape are just mediums, like paint brushes to the painter. I think the story is more important (to me anyhow). But digital is great because it allows the masses to be filmmakers at a low low cost (compared to an all film-production). I love them all: DV, super8, 16, hi-8, even friggin VHS!

Yeah if there was a better way to edit with VHS-C I'd like it more.

DV makes it possible for a lot of new talent to be discovered.

Im still waiting for the days of 8 million megapixilation to be affordable.

But I think it will have to be invented first. of course i will probubly be like 60 when it is affordable.
