It's a "CANON 814 SUPER 8 AUTO ZOOM" :eek:

Watch out, all you film people! I have no experience* with a real film camera at all, so be ready for a bunch of questions which may seem basic to you... but will be the beginning of a journey to the unknown for me. :scared:


* The last time i used a Super8, I was roughly 7 or 8... using it as a Flash Gordon ray-gun. (It made a really neat chatter-chatter-chatter shooting noise). Got a big paddling from the evil Emperess Mum after using up several cartridges of "ammunition". :cry:

OK, I'm going down to the basement and finding Dad's. It looks like a ray gun, but I wonder if it still works?
 
Congrats Zen on your new toy! I'm sure you'll love it just like you loved using it as a "ray gun" all those years back. Just this time, it's you paying for the "ammunition." So watch where you fire. ;)
 
Thats great to hear Steve! You've gone film. Super 8s a great little medium. I wish more people used it. Now go buy yourself a roll or two of K40 and start shooting. :P
