Sound...

I've been looking for a decent freeware program that allows me to put together basic loops for a soundtrack. But most of them seem to be either crappy, or are more than I can afford right now...

I know some of the editing systems come with loop programs, but Premier Pro seems to be the one that doesn't. Just my luck, right?

Anyway... anyone have any suggestions? Is there something under, say, $40 that would be good? Or better still, anything freeware?

Thanks.

I use the basic Acid Loops - was about $20 at the time, I think. Came with a second CD chock full of .wavs and loops to use, as well. Handy.

My friend in NY likes using Goldwave, which I *think* is free, with an option to pony up a donation if you like it.

Sony bought out Sonic productrs and charges up the bum for them.

Yeah, Acid 1 and 2 were pretty cheap. Like 39 bucks i think.

I think Sony charges like 300 bucks?
